Write the correct direct object pronoun to replace the words in italics.

French

Even though the direct object pronoun of moi is indeed me (like the other person said), because the verb starts with a vowel, it has to be shortened.
So, the correct answer is:
Elle m'invite.
This sentence means - She invites me.
You have to use the apostrophe to shorten me because two vowels cannot stand next to each other like this.

Je ne parlais __________ avec elle car je ne la connaissais pas.
Vladimir79 [104]
Je ne parlais jamais avec elle car je ne la connaissais pas.

Ne... jamais is used together to mean never
De temps en temps, souvent and toujours are mostly not used in conjunction with ne and they also express a duration of time (from time to time, often, always) that does not make sense in this context where the speaker says that he didn't know the woman, thus 'jamais' is the only option left.
