Explanation:

To begin with, those kind of activities can give the person an increase in the selfestime and its personal thoughts that could easily give him strength to get outside of situations that may be difficult to face. So that means that if the person meditates he can learn to take situations in a more cold way and not be stress about it due to the fact that he trains his body and mind with the meditation. Moreover, the fact that the person pray will always give him the confidence to be listened by a higher power and therefore he will find release of the tention and with that he will believe that everything can be resolve with optimism and effort.
