Which line from "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?” supports Douglass’s claim that the Fourth of July is not a cause wort

hy of celebration by all?
A.Fellow Citizens, I am not wanting in respect for the fathers of this republic. The signers of the Declaration of Independence were brave men. They were great men, too great enough to give frame to a great age.
B.Would to God, both for your sakes and ours, that an affirmative answer could be truthfully returned to these questions! Then would my task be light, and my burden easy and delightful.
C.Fellow-citizens, above your national, tumultuous joy, I hear the mournful wail of millions! whose chains, heavy and grievous yesterday, are, to-day, rendered more intolerable by the jubilee shouts that reach them.
D.But, I submit, where all is plain there is nothing to be argued. What point in the anti-slavery creed would you have me argue? On what branch of the subject do the people of this country need light?

Answer:  There are a lot of things that annoy me. I'll be at work waiting for a customer to pay and they'll have one hand with a bill and the other hand with change. Since they're too lazy to count the change they give me the bill. When I give them back their change they complain that they have to much change now. These people don't make any sense. Why didn't you just give me your change in the first place? Or when I'm at work and a customer asks for something and I'm making it then all of sudden they change their mind. It's really annoying having to do it over especially when there's a line of customers behind them.

Another thing is people walking so slowly in the hallway. They take their time and never move out of your way.

It's annoying when you go to the mall and when you go into a store and all these salespeople are always coming up to you. If I needed help, I'd ask.

When I went shopping for my prom dress the saleslady would not leave me alone. I wanted to look myself and she was always behind me waiting. Also every dress I tried on she would say it looks so nice even if it's the ugliest thing.

I though that when I went on vacation to Florida I wouldn't have to worry about things like that. Florida is much worse. There's so many rude people there. I was on the bus one day and I asked someone how far the mall was and he just looked at me and said "I don't know" and rudely turned away.

The traffic lights in Florida literally take five minutes to change. As soon as it changes you have to be ready to go because their are a lot of people that can't drive and they'll run you over. I almost got hit a bunch of times by cars. They really can't drive down there.

I went shopping there in some expensive stores and the salespeople don't offer you any help because they think you can't afford it.
