The Corrections Calendar of business in the House of Representatives includes bills from the House Calendar or the Union Calendar that are considered noncontroversial. These bills generally involve concerns with regulations or rules that should be easily agreed upon across party lines, often because they are outdated or unnecessary. Such bills are called up for consideration on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. They are debated for just one hour and then a vote is held. If a bill on the Corrections Calendar receives a three-fifths vote, then it is passed.

kupik [55]

The correct answer is A) providing a framework for government.

By outlaying the three branches of the federal government, establishing a bicameral legislature, and defining the relationships between these entities, the U.S. Constitution is fulfilling its goal of providing a framework for government.

In doing that the US Constitution is clearly establishing the order, branches, and functions of the US government, based on the separation of powers under the system of checks and balances that served well. The federal government is divided into three branches. The executive branch, that is the President of the US. The legislative branch, that is the US Congress, and the judicial branch, that is the Supreme Court.
