Answer:

Option A. One of the possible effects of alcohol on a fetus are cognitive disabilities and birth defects.

Explanation:

When a pregnant woman drinks alcohol she may be harming her fetus's development, as alcohol can go through the mother's blood into the fetus's blood and affect his/her cells's growing capacity. The effects that drinking alcohol while pregnant can produce in a fetus are that the baby can have distinctive facial defects like a small head or a flat face or a diverse range of birth defects that can harm the baby's overall health. It can also create cognitive and behavioral problems for the baby as he/she grows up.

Maurinko [17]

Answer & Explanation: A habit is a settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up. It is a regular or constant partner that can either pull you up or drag you down depending on the the habit being a good one or a bad one. Take for instance, having a habit of brushing twice a day (morning and evening) is a great helper as is a practice of good hygiene whereas a heroin habit is a drug abuse which can eventually be a huge burden as a result of the cost/ health implication.
