The scatter plot shows the relationship between the test scores of a group of students and the number of hours they exercise in

a week:
On a grid, Label Hours of Exercise on x axis and Test Scores on y axis. The title of the graph is Test Scores and Exercise. The scale on the x axis shows the numbers from 0 to 10 at increments of 1, and the scale on the y axis shows numbers from 0 to 100 at increments of 10. Dots are made at the ordered pairs 1.1, 12 and 1, 30 and 2.1, 21 and 2.5, 42 and 3.5, 30 and 3.5, 45 and 4, 55 and 5, 45 and 5.5, 60 and 5.5, 70 and 6.5, 40 and 7, 50 and 7.5, 80 and 8, 75, and 8.5, 60 and 9, 75. The ordered pair 9, 15 is circled and labeled as T. All the other points are put in an oval and labeled as P.

Part A: What is the group of points labeled P called? What is the point labeled T called? Give a possible reason for the presence of point T. (5 points)

Part B: Describe the association between students' test scores and the number of hours they exercise. (5 points)

For part A, the majority of dots circled are what's called a cluster. The one point out by itself is called an outlier. As for part B, it seems that as the hours of computer games played go down, their test scores go up.

hope it helps.

T = k/R  where k is the constant of variation, T=time and R=speed.
Plug in the given values:-
12 = k/60
k = 12*60 = 720
So the equation of variation is T = 720/R

At 85 mph we have

T = 720 / 85 =  8.47 hours (answer)

Suppose we have two binomial populations where the true proportion of success is .2 for the first population and .3 for the seco
Veseljchak [2.6K]

Answer:

The value is not close to 0.3 because of sampling variability.

Step-by-step explanation:

The group of answer choices are not given which are as follows:

  • All of the above
  • Because the sample size is too small
  • Because of sampling variability
  • Because of nonresponse bias

From this the correct option is option C which is Because of Sampling Variability.

This is true because the two populations are of different values and thus the sample is not dependent on any one of the two possibilities. When a sample of 4 is considered from first and 400 from the second the overall probability will be far from the value of 0.3. So the
