Y - 1 = m(x - 1)

first distribute the m to each monomial located in the parenthesis

m(x - 1)
m(x) = mx
m(-1) = m(-1)

y - 1 = m(x) - m

isolate the y, add 1 to both sides

y - 1 (+1) = m(x) - m (+1)

y = m(x) - m + 1

y = m(x) - m + 1 should be your answer

hope this helps

Answer: Intergenerational Mobility

Explanation: Refers to the transition of individuals or groups from one stratum or social class to another. There are two types of social mobility: intragerational mobility, in which case we analyze the situation of individuals in a generation, that is, their position at the beginning and end of their careers; and intergenerational mobility, in which case we analyze more than one generation, trying to see, for example, whether individuals belong to the same social class as their parents.
