Answer:

A.freedom to rebel against the government

However, note that this freedom is only given to the people when the government fails to protect the people's rights. It is, to be frank, a "last resort", which allows the overthrowing of the current government and a set up of a new government.

B.freedom of speech

The bill of rights allow "freedom of speech", which allows anybody in the U.S. to voice what they believe. However, as seen today, freedom of speech has eroded and been misused, and so one must not take the "freedom" to say whatever they want too seriously.

C.freedom to own property

The bill of rights allow a person to privately own property, and that the US government cannot confiscate property or use property without permission. In doing so, the US would be changing the constitution, which would allow the people to replace the government.

1. Explain why Tocqueville regards the principle of individualism as such a crucial social value.
Aloiza [94]

Answer:

The answers are below.

Explanation:

1. Tocqueville believes that individualism comprises two fundamental aspects: first, a denunciation of the despotic dangers that threaten democratic societies when their members, dominated by the individualist tendency, withdraw to the private sphere and disregard responsibilities that correspond to them, as citizens; and, secondly, a proposal to overcome, in a humanistic key, the perspective that conceives of individualism as an anthroponomic figure characteristic of liberal democracy.

2. The main problem that Tocqueville arises throughout Democracy in America is that of the conformation of the democraticus furnace and hence its interest in thoroughly analyzing the nature, consequences, inconveniences and possible remedies to such transformation.

3. The example of American society - Tocqueville maintains - teaches us to distinguish between this erroneous, grossly utilitarian and individualistic view of one's own interest, and an enlightened and "well understood" vision of it. The first one reduces the individual interest to the merely economic, conceives it naively as if it were something natural and previously constituted to the social relationship, tends to confuse it with selfishness and, finally, believes illusory that the general interest is nothing more than sum of private interests. The second, on the contrary, defines the particular interest as a social construction and insists, from there, on the need to make individuals understand that they are not self-sufficient and that their own interest is closely linked to the fair construction of a common interest.

4. In the way that Tocqueville considered equality as a great political and social idea of his time, the author argued that the United States was the most advanced example of equality in action.

During the early Middle Ages, the Vikings invasion contributed to the end of which great European empire?
tester [92]

Answer:

The North Sea Empire

Explanation:

The Viking presence dwindled until 1066, when the invading Norsemen lost their final battle with the English at Stamford Bridge. The death in the battle of King Harald Hardrada of Norway ended any hope of reviving Cnut's North Sea Empire; it is because of this, rather than the Norman conquest, that 1066 is often taken as the end of the Viking Age. Nineteen days later, the Normans, themselves descended from Norsemen, invaded England and defeated the weakened English army at the Battle of Hastings.

Short notes about Hitler
Karolina [17]
Actually, Hitler took control of a very desperate Germany after ww1 when they were dramatically left in pieces. He began to put a thought in his head that he could control the whole world and make them pay. To serve as a message, he began to wipe an entire race, known as Jews. These Jews were put in camps called concentration camps to either be burned or be worked to death. During the Battle of Burling Hitler married his soul mate and committed suicide 2 days later so he wouldn't be captured. His corpse was then burned.
