When you graph a system of equations, the solution is always at the point at which the two lines intersect. So you have to find that point and then find which number it is on the x-axis and y-axis. Then you should write it in this form (X,Y)
So the lines basically cross at (1,2.5)
I’m not really sure if this is the correct answer but I hope it helps!!
Good luck!
Step-by-step explanation:
1. 1st of all calculate the gradient
( - 3, 5) ( 2, 10)
Gradient = (10 - 5) / ( 2--3)
= 1
2. Then find the eq
Y = mx + c
Where m is the gradient
y= 1x + c
Now replace any 2 coordinates from above in the eq.
For ex I'm taking (2, 10)
Y = 1x + c
In the coordinate, x = 2 and y =10
By replacing this in the eq, I will find c
10 = 1(2) + c
2 + c = 10
c = 10 - 2
= 8
So the eq is y = x + 8 ⬅️
To start to figure this problem out, we can first figure out how many more pages you read in an hour compared to your sister.
50 - 40 = 10, so you read 10 more pages in 1 hour.
Now we have to figure out how much more you would read in 1/2 an hour. Since 1/2 an hour is 1/2 of an hour, we can divide 10 by 2 to figure out how many more pages you read in an hour compared to your sister. 10 divided by 2 is 5, so you read 5 more pages every half hour.
So the bigger number are the smallest
And
The small number are biggest
So it would be 1/6,2/3,3/4,5/8,7/12
