Between 1940 and 1970 most scientists were already concerned about global warming is true.

Further Explanations:

Scientists during the 1940’s were aware of it and are were constantly debating for the further depletion of earth’s atmosphere One such example is the Stockholm World Conference held during the 1970s so as make countries aware of the consequences of the Global warming.

Global warming refers to the rise in the temperature of the Earth’s environment due to climatic change and various effects of warming. The earth's atmosphere is separated into five layers based upon its temperature namely exosphere, the troposphere, the thermosphere, the stratosphere, and the mesosphere with troposphere as its lowest layer and the most pretentious by exosphere, the troposphere, the thermosphere, the stratosphere, and the mesosphere. The width of the layer varies with the land forms and the time of the day. Human activities like industrial and vehicle emission are affecting the troposphere. Other several human activities also affect the troposphere and lead to the depletion of the Ozone layer that had resulted in global warming.

How did the Great Compromise address the concerns of the small and large states?
MrMuchimi
The Great Compromise settled the method of representation in the legislative branch (the US Congress). Small states wanted equal representation (equality by state), and large states wanted representation based on population (equality by vote). Under the compromise, all states were represented equally in the Senate. -(I explain much as I could hope this helps:)
