These two angles are supplementary, meaning that there sum is 180 degrees. To solve this make a formula:

97 + x = 180

Subtract 97 to both sides to isolate x

97 - 97 + x = 180 - 97

x = 83

Hope this helped!

Answer:

x = 83

Step-by-step explanation:

Well since this is a straight line it automatically means this line is 180 degrees.

Also that also tells us that it is an supplementary angle. (when either of two angles whose sum is 180)

97 + x = 180

subtract 97 from both sides

x = 180 - 97

x = 83

Max is bisecting a segment. First, he places the compass on one endpoint and opens it to a width larger than half of the segment
Len [333]

Let's say the original segment is AB. So we have A and B as the endpoints.

If Max placed the non-pencil part of the compass at point A to form the two arcs mentioned, then he'll have to repeat the process with the non-pencil part at point B. He'll get what you see below in the diagram.

The two arcs form points C and D. Segment CD bisects AB. In other words, CD cuts AB in half. This means AE = EB where E is the midpoint of AB.

Find the mean, median, and mode of the data, if possible. If any of these measures cannot be found or a measure does not repre
Contact [7]

Answer:

1. Median = 10.1

2. A. The median represents the center.

3. D. The mode(s) can't represent the center because it (they) is(are) not a data value.

Step-by-step explanation:

Mean of a sample = sum of the samples/no of the samples

Samples in increasing order:

9.8

9.8

9.9

10.1

10.4

10.6

11.1

Mode is the sample with highest frequency.

Median is the middle entry of the data.

Mean = (9.8 + 9.8 + 9.9 + 10.1 + 10.4 + 10.6 + 11.1)/7

= 717/7

= 10.243

Median = 10.1

Mode = 9.8 because it has the highest frequency of 2
