Iraq's politics has a framework of federal parliamentary representative democratic republic. The executive power are given to the Prime Minister of the Council of the Ministers (head government) President of Iraq, and the Council of Representatives and the Federation Council is given the legislative power.

The space race happened to be against the Russians the Soviet Union trying to accomplish to get into space first. The Russians did beat the U.S. to reach into space but however we were the first to land on the moon that was a huge step towards history. Technically the space race isn't really over from today.
