Why do you think it was so important for artists to create such realistic interpretations? How do you think the role of the arti

It's probably important to have realistic interpretation because then the artist's audience can actually relate to it. The role of the artist has change ( if any) may have been the fact that now not only do they speak for themselves, their art now expresses other people's feelings too that can not express on their own. At least that's what I believe.
