Answer:

y = 5 and x = -3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

y = x + 8      ...............( equation 1 )

x + y = 2      ...............( equation 2 )

Now,  by substituting the value of y in equation 2, we get;

⇒ x + x + 8 = 2

⇒ x = -3

and now, by substituting the value of x in equation 1, we get;

⇒ y = -3 + 8

⇒ y = 5

Write a paragraph reflecting on the different methods (graphing technology, tables of values, and successive approximation) of s
mafiozo [28]

Answer with explanation:

To solve , f(x)=g(x)

The three methods that we generally use to solve above equation is

1.→ Graphing technology

2.→Tables of values

3.→Successive approximation

→If you will use "Table of values" ,you will substitute the value of x in both f(x) and g(x) ,so after hit and trial you can find exact value of x, where , f(x)=g(x).

→The method of "Successive approximation" is used by selecting an Interval and then values of x are substituted from the interval to calculate the exact value of x for which, f(x)=g(x) by hit and trial method.Little bit lengthier and time consuming.

→ "Graphing  technology"=Draw graph of both f(x) and g(x) .The point where these two function intersect gives the value of x.Tough to draw the graph of some function but gives exact answer once you have accomplished the drawing of Graph.

⇒"Graphing  technology" is the method that  would be preferred to calculate ,f(x)=g(x), to calculate x.

2 {x}^{2}  - 3x - 5 ✅

Step-by-step explanation:

( {x}^{2}  + 3) - [3x + (8 -  {x}^{2} )] \\  =  {x}^{2}  +3 -  [3x + 8 -  {x}^{2} ] \\  =   {x}^{2}  + 3 - 3x - 8 +  {x}^{2}  \\  = 2 {x}^{2}  - 3x - 5

Solve for the measure of angle G in degrees.....
7nadin3 [17]

Answer:

Angle G = 76 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

66 + 2x + x = 180

66 + 3x = 180

3x = 114

x = 38

2(38) = 76

BRAINLIEST ASAP! PLEASE. HELP ME :) I need help with part 2 of the question.
tino4ka555 [31]

Part 2:

-4a + 2 + 11a = 5a + 3 + 2a

~Combine like terms

7a + 2 = 7a + 3

~Subtract 2 to both sides

7a = 7a - 1

~Subtract 7a to both sides

0 = 1

Therefore, there are no solutions.

Best of Luck!
