Answer : No Cruel and Unusual punishment

Explanation : say you stole a candy bar and the store calls the cops on you and the judge and the jury find you guilty, they cant exactly sentence you to 10 years of jail for only stealing a candy bar , the punishment must fit the crime.

What were the 3 main issues of disagreement during the Era of Good Feelings?
Marysya12 [62]

The 3 main issues of disagreement during the Era of Good Feelings are:

1. Representation in Congress: There were differences in this area as well as the number of representatives each state would receive. By consenting to one Representative for every 30,000 White Citizens, plus 3/5 of its Slave Population, directly elected by the People, the difficulties were settled. Additionally, two senators from each state will be chosen by their respective state legislatures.

2. Executive power: The power granted to the President was in question, particularly his veto power and the number of years to be used in each term. The pact provided for unlimited reelection and terms of four years each. Additionally, the president was given a veto that might be overridden.

3. Concerning the slave trade, the question is whether or not slavery should be legalised. They concurred that the slave trade would not be outlawed by legislation until 1808.

4. The Bill of Rights is included. The power granted to the national government in this case, which may void the rights of people and states, is at issue. The 10 changes to the Bill of Rights were finally accepted.
