Sara draws a marble out of a bag. It is either red or green. She records the data and then puts the marble back in the bag. She

repeats this process 50 times to get the following results: Red: 35 Green: 15 Because Sara knows that there are 4 marbles in the bag, she knows that the probability of choosing a red marble must be either 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, or 4/4. Based on her data, which of these models is most probable?
A. 1/4
B. 2/4
C. 3/4
D. 4/4

Well think about if you have 35 out of 50 you get around 1.4. Also look at the data you can tell that there is at least one green marble so then you can think that if it was half and half the numbers would be closer so then think that the only answer that make sense is 3/4. I hope this helps

A trapezium of area 105 cm2 has parallel sides of length 5cm and 9 cm how far apart are the parallel sides
Tanzania [10]
For a trapezoid:
the area equals the product of half the sum of the two bases' length and the normal height between them

so that, we can write:
105= \frac{5+9}{2}*h\\~\\h=15~~cm

Hence <span>the parallel sides are 15 cm apart.

the ratios swans to ducks in a pond is 7 to 6 if there are 39 swans and Ducks all together then how many ducks are there?
frosja888 [35]

Answer:

18 ducks

Step-by-step explanation:

add the parts of the ratio 7 + 6 = 13

divide the total by 13 to find one part of the ratio

\frac{39}{13} = 3 ← 1 part of the ratio

7 parts = 7 × 3 = 21 ← number of swans

6 parts = 6 × 3 = 18 ← number of ducks
