WILL MARK BRAINLIEST IF CORRECT!!!!! Read this excerpt from White Fang. [White Fang] felt a vacancy in him, a need for the hush

and quietude of the stream and the cave in the cliff. Life had become too populous. There were so many of the man-animals, men, women, and children, all making noises and irritations. And there were the dogs, ever squabbling and bickering, bursting into uproars and creating confusions. The restful loneliness of the only life he had known was gone. Here the very air was palpitant with life. It hummed and buzzed unceasingly. How does White Fang change when he compares his new environment to his old environment? He appreciates that he is no longer lonely. He misses the peace of the wild. He develops a fear of the wild. He decides to become a loyal pack dog.

Answer:

Miss Leno is waiting for Jason to thank  Maggie.

Explanation:

In the story, <em>Anything But Typical</em> by Nora Raleigh Baskin, the narrator of the story is a 12-year old autistic boy named Jason. The story revolves around his life who finds some hope and understanding from PhoenixBird, a person he met online who usually posts stories in the same site that he does.

In chapter 2, we are told that Jason's usual computer has been used by a girl named Maggie. She did not want to leave nor does Jason want to use the other computers. And after a while, she was compelled to leave by Aaron Miller who Jason used to be friends with. And after that, Maggie left but even after Jason got the computer, Miss Leno doesn't leave. She said <em>"I am sure Jason appreciates it very much"</em> to Maggie, in an attempt to make Jason say thank you to Maggie. And when Jason doesn't, for he is still busy trying to log in to his Storyboard page, Jason mentions <em>"has not walked away the way she should. She is still standing nearby"</em>. This shows that she expects Jason to thank Maggie for giving up the library computer seat to Jason.

1. Looking Down Constantly at the Laptop Screen

Poor laptop posture

What most people do when using a laptop is to simply place it on their desk (or God forbid on their laps). This might be okay for a short while, but any time longer, and your neck and shoulders will start to feel it.

According to studies, even a 15° tilt of the neck to look down at the laptop screen doubles the amount of force exerted on our necks to hold up the head. If you place your laptop on your lap, that force can be 3 times as great compared to a straight neck.

Dr. Kenneth Hansraj, in his research found that, even though the human head only weighs 10 to 12 lbs on average, the weight drastically increases as the head tilts forward. At a 15° angle, the weight jumps to 27 lbs, 40 lbs at 30°, 49 lbs at 45°, and 60 lbs at 60°.

Hence, though the motion of looking down might seem harmless, doing it for long periods of time can lead to neck pain, upper back muscle spasms, and even damage the vertebrae.

Solution: Use a laptop stand to elevate the laptop screen to eye level.

Laptop stand ergonomics

The solution is simple,- use a laptop stand or even any old cardboard

How does the scene where jim first uses a wheel chair (paragraph 39) contribute to the text
mafiozo [28]

Answer:

You may choose a work from the list below or another novel or play of literary merit.1996.The British novelist Fay Weldon offers this observation about happy endings."The writers, I do believe, who get the best and most lasting response from their readersare the writers who offer a happy ending through moral development. By a happyending, I do not mean mere fortunate events -- a marriage or a last minute rescue fromdeath -- but some kind of spiritual reassessment or moral reconciliation, even with theself, even at death." Choose a novel or play that has the kind of ending Weldondescribes. In a well-written essay, identify the "spiritual reassessment or moralreconciliation" evident in the ending and explain its significance in the work as a whole.1995.Writers often highlight the values of a culture or a society by using characters whoare alienated from that culture or society because of gender, race, class, or creed.Choose a novel or a play in which such a character plays a significant role and showhow that character's alienation reveals the surrounding society's assumptions or moralvalues.1994.In some works of literature, a character who appears briefly, or does not appearat all, is a significant presence. Choose a novel or play of literary merit and write anessay in which you show how such a character functions in the work. You may wish todiscuss how the character affects action, theme, or the development of othercharacters. Avoid plot summary.

381993."The true test of comedy is that it shall awaken thoughtful laughter." Choose anovel, play, or long poem in which a scene or character awakens "thoughtful laughter"in the reader. Write an essay in which you show why this laughter is "thoughtful" andhow it contributes to the meaning of the work.1992.In a novel or play, a confidant (male) or a confidante (female) is a character, oftena friend or relative of the hero or heroine, whose role is to be present when the hero orheroine needs a sympathetic listener to confide in. Frequently the result is, as HenryJames remarked, that the confidant or confidante can be as much "the reader's friendas the protagonist's." However, the author sometimes uses this character for otherpurposes as well. Choose a confidant or confidante from a novel or play of recognizedliterary merit and write an essay in which you discuss the various ways this characterfunctions in the work.1991.Many plays and novels use contrasting places (for example, two countries, twocities or towns, two houses, or the land and the sea) to represent opposed forces orideas that are central to the meaning of the work. Choose a novel or play that contraststwo such places. Write an essay explaining how the places differ, what each placerepresents, and how their contrast contributes to the meaning of the work.

mixer [17]

Answer:

Making judgments about whether a person is morally responsible for her behavior, and holding others and ourselves responsible for actions and the consequences of actions, is a fundamental and familiar part of our moral practices and our interpersonal relationships.

Explanation:

Moral responsibility refers to a call to action, where the opposite(inaction) would result in a moral failure. an example would be if you see a person choking, and you know how to perform the Heimlich manuver but rather than help you do nothing. You are by inaction assisting in that persons death.
