Doug is fluent in French. Does he need to pick a French dictionary when he travels to France?explain.
xenn [34]
Yes, I think so. Fluent means he knows the language by heart whether that is his first language or not. However, he still could forget some things. Here in the U.S. We still look stuff up all the time in dictionary's or on our phones even though we are fluent in the language. So getting a French dictionary will help more.

what information in the story would best support the idea that knows kinnos should be called kinnos the brave?
Sphinxa [80]
Assuming that you're referring to the writing 'negore the coward' by Jack London
There are several things that support that claim. Such as :

- Kinoos is not afraid to face the Russian despite his disabilities
- He always speak up his mind and speak up if he notice any kind of injustice

Which best describes Achilles's motivation for joining the war?
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

B.He wants to become famous for his battlefield accomplishments so that his name will be remembered forever

Explanation:

Achilles who was the greatest warrior of his time chose to join King Agamemnon and his allies in the battle of Troy, not because of revenge or because of his obedience to the King, but because of his quest for glory and fame.

When Achilles was nine years old, it was prophesied that he would die in battle as a hero against the Trojans, and even though his mother did her best to avert this prophecy, Achilles chose to go for glory, even though he knew it would cost him his life.
