Answer:

It says that laughter is unexpected but short-lived

Explanation:

The word "sudden" shows us that laughter is unexpected, and the image of the wave which "breaks and dies in breaking" shows us that laughter is temporary and short lived, as the laughter will eventually "break".

Will give brainliest! Please help me :) 10 pts
tia_tia [17]

Answer:

Stevenson is saying that when we take a bird’s-eye view, we see everything in a grand perspective. From there, much of what we humans do seems trivial or unimportant. We feel aloof from the rest of humanity, much as Apollo felt when he looked down on humans from atop Mount Olympus. Stevenson likens the man’s Apollo-like view to the pleasure he found in the northern Scottish landscape.

Stevenson used the allusion to Apollo to say that when we look at our experiences from a new perspective, we find unexpected pleasure and experience personal growth. He assumes his readers will be familiar with Apollo and the allusion to him will help them understand his new view of this landscape.

Briefly Describe England during the elizabethan era
Goryan [66]
This Era is marked by the reign of Queen Elizabeth. It occurred from about 1558 to 1603. Often, historians refer to this as the golden age. Religion, politics, executions, and crime and punishment all played a part in this Era. This Era is also the mark of many explorers, such as Sir Francis Drake, and Walter Raleigh.

Another great during this time was the famous Shakespeare. Since Queen Elizabeth loved the arts and understood the importance of them, theaters and great playwrights thrived during this time. Shakespeare was able to soar during these times, and many of his greatest masterpieces were created.

While reading your study materials, what items Should you make by highlighting or understanding?
seropon [69]
When studying your topic/unit materials and notes, the items you should specifically highlight are the really important details, important phrases, key terms, and important names. If it were me, I would just highlight everything that I know will help me memorize the other details, and then read those parts over and over again, until I can literally see the words and sentences seared into my eyelids. It is best to use this method right before the test, if you have free time you can use to study. Warning! I never said that this could be easy, so don't just trust my answer, because each person has a different way of studying and this method probably doesn't suit you. If this doesn't, then I am really sorry, but it's better than failing a test or something.

I hope you like this answer, and have a good night! :)
