Bacteriophages, are viruses that affect bacterias that  could possibly kill them. Since their discovery , bacteriophages are widely use to treat various bacterial  diseases in people and animals. Like all viruses,  bacteriophages are very species-specific with regard  to their host and usually only infect a single, bacterial  species, or even specific strains within a species. In  conclusion, we could infere that the bacteriophage didn't  affect the bacteria and died eventually. As stated before  a bacteriophage is use to kill/affect bacteria, and since  the population still grew normally and cells appeared to  be healthy; then we could conclude that the bacteriophage  didn't affected the bacteria and eventually died.
