The correct answer is - E. III and IV.

Chile is a country with very interesting shape. It is a very long, snake-shaped country, but it has a very small width. The country is lying between the Pacific Ocean and the Andean Mountain Range.

This shape of the country, enabling most of the settlements to have access to the ocean, or if they don't they are still very close to it, has had positive economic results. By using the water for transportation of goods, everything is transported very easily and very cheaply throughout the country. Also, since the country has a very long coastline and it is open to the world, it has used its numerous ports to trade goods with lot of countries around the world.

Unlike other countries that have very long coastlines, Chile's economy is surprisingly not based around the fishing industry which is not even in the top ten economic activities in the country.
