In the given excerpt from the poem "The Charge of the Light Brigade" by Alfred Lord Tennyson, we can see the develop of the theme of heroism of unquestioning sacrifice, because the poem talks about a brigade of soldiers that without questioning or asking for reasons, they went to the battle willing to give their lives, we can see this in the lines "Theirs not to make reply,  Theirs not to reason why,  Theirs but to do and die."
