Why should you use sources when writing a composition
Rasek [7]

Whenever you use other writers' ideas, however, you must acknowledge your sources. Doing so allows you to distinguish between your ideas and those of others; it directs your readers to relevant sources; and it allows you to give credit where credit is due. It is important to properly reference and cite your sources to avoid plagiarism and to give credit for original ideas.

Putting source material in your own words shows readers that you have a true understanding of that material. Also, to restate in your own words the full meaning of a phrase or passage helps readers understand difficult, complex, jargon-riddled or ambiguous passages.

asambeis [7]

Awnser: Thoreau begins Civil Disobedience by saying that he agrees with the motto, "That government is best which governs least." Indeed, he says, men will someday be able to have a government that does not govern at all. As it is, government rarely proves useful or efficient. It is often "mistreat and unnatural" so that it no longer represents the will of the people. The Mexican-American War illustrates this phenomenon.

Explanation:

In To kill a Mockingbird Miss Maudie is described as a person who believes in treating people humanly (i.e. not racially biased) and not judging them. Therefore, ¨Reasonable¨ can be defined as someone who acts with reason or common sense in regards to other people. On the other hand, a reasonable person viewed socially is not deprived of human emotions that enables him or her to be rationally and emphatic at the same time.
