So, if there is a 5% increase every year, it means that in 3 there will be a increase of:

500 in the first year - 10 000 * 5 / 100

525 in the second year - 10 500 * 5 / 100

551.5 in the third year - 11 025 * 5 / 100

Now we add that all up:

11 576.5

Answer:

11 576.5

It's renewable because it depends on something as simple as water flow.

I think building dams has many advantages, but many ecological disadvantages. It interferes in flooding which cause a lot of damage and it can also affect some species migration such as fish.

Answers:

A. and A.

The most common and efficient way of doing this monitoring, especially with endangered species is probably tagging. Point count, as far as I know, is only used for bird monitoring and area searches are not effective at all.

When you designate an area as a nation park, it acquires certain protection laws (I think it works like so in all countries) that protect the species in it. Decreasing the number of trees does not make any sense and fragmenting the forests can only make things worse.

Answers:

A. and C.

Hope it helped,

What type of bacteria converts the ammonia and ammonium into nitrates and nitrites?
patriot [66]

Bacteria converts the ammonia and ammonium into nitrates and nitrites is described below.

Explanation:

1. Nitrifying bacteria convert ammonia to nitrites or nitrates. Ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates are all fixed nitrogen and can be absorbed by plants. Denitrifying bacteria converts nitrates back to nitrogen gas.

2. The nitrification process requires the mediation of two distinct groups: bacteria that convert ammonia to nitrites (Nitrosomonas, Nitrosospira, Nitrosococcus, and Nitrosolobus) and bacteria that convert nitrites (toxic to plants) to nitrates (Nitrobacter, Nitrospina, and Nitrococcus).

3. Nitrifying bacteria present in the soil convert ammonia into nitrite. Nitrite is then converted into nitrate. This process is called Nitrification.

4. De-Nitrification: Nitrogen in its nitrate form (NO3–) is converted back into atmospheric nitrogen gas (N2) by bacterial species such as Pseudomonas and Clostridium, usually in anaerobic conditions. These bacteria use nitrate as an electron acceptor instead of oxygen during respiration

Can a leader be obedient
lozanna [386]
This really isn't a 'Biology' question.

Yes, leaders learn by following others first. Everyone must start somewhere, and the experience of being a follower is something that all should know.

If you found this especially helpful, I'd appreciate if you'd vote me Brainliest for your answer. I want to be able to assist more users one-on-one, as well as to move up in rank! :)
