On 11th October 1906, the San Francisco Board of Education tried to drive the 93 students from Japan who were attending a government school in San Francisco to visit the segregated Chinese schoolhouse. The school board was reacting to influence from the Asiatic Exclusion League in California that had the last intention of finishing Japanese migration to California.
