The white league wanted blacks gone, they often killed blacks for no apparent reason besides that they hated black people, they would hang black people also, there still is the white league today but today it is just a hate group they do not kill people anymore
People assume that if there are two boys or girls holding hands this means they like each other but a lot of times its not true. When a young woman and a mother hold hands they wont think that they like each other they will think that they are pert of the same family and that the older woman is the mom and the younger woman is the daughter but, people wouldn't like it if they were just holding hands with there sister or brother but somebody thought they liked each other. It's just cohenidense.
