Answer:

Without kidneys, the body cannot remove liquid waste from the blood.

Explanation:

Humans have two kidneys, which are dark red, bean-shaped glands located in the posterior abdomen, behind the peritoneum and beside the spine in the lower back. They are part of the excretory and osmoregulatory system because they filter and excrete the waste in the blood.

Microscopically, it is made up of about 1 million small structures called nephron. Each nephron eliminates blood waste, maintains the body's electrolyte balance, controls the amount of fluid in the body, regulates blood pressure and secretes hormones, and produces urine. Therefore, the nephron is called the kidney functional unit, as each nephron performs all renal functions.

How does having a plan help you avoid alcohol and drug abuse during outings with friends?
Veseljchak [2.6K]

Explanation:

you will be less likely to do anything stupid if you have a plan. it's always a good idea to have a trusted friend during outings to parties. it's also good to bring your own cup and pour your own drinks. planning lowers the chance of anything bad happening and will help you leave the party without any drama, especially if you have a designated driver.

What's the description for protein
Sav [38]
Protein is something that produces muscle mass, it is composed of amino acids which are compounds of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and etc. Protein is mostly in animals products (meat, dairy, eggs and more) is can also be in nuts such as almonds and peanuts. A lot of people put something called “whey powder” into drinks to get protein easier (but in my opinion it makes drink grainy).
