2.The North was using blockade as a strategy in order to block all trade from the South.Which the strategy was called the Union blockade,where they had map and a snake is blocking all ports.The snake represented the warships and sailing vessels surrounding the area. 3.The Southern economy was a vulnerable as a result of the Civil War because the the North had twice as many soliders,crops,weapons,uniforms and necessary items needed as use during the war,plus the fact they had several railroads to transport their supplies from factories quickly.Meanwhile the South did have very good generals , though they were economically poor due to the fact the Union blockade them and they aren't very industrialized , which limits the amount of the supplies and soliders needed.So in the end,they became outnumbered .
