The subjunctive is a grammatical mood that expresses suggestions, wishes, etc. It also expresses doubts. When a sentence does not express doubt. The grammatical mood is not subjunctive.
E.g.
•Dudo que tengas dinero para mi almuerzo.
This sentence expresses doubt.
Whereas..
•No dudo que te mantienes en buena forma física.
The sentence does not express doubt.

Which word correctly completes this conversation?
SVETLANKA909090 [29]
The correct answer is aquella, because we would use the word if there was a difference in the distance. Like if you were in the right corner of a room, and the guitar was at the left corner of the room. And another reason is because aquella is feminine and in spanish, guitar is feminine.

12. Fill the blanks with the correct present tense form of ser or estar.
lapo4ka [179]

For this case we can translate the sentence as:

<em>__________you happy today?</em>

We must fill in the blank with the correct form of the present indicative of the verb to be.

The verb "to be" in Spanish can mean two things. "Ser o Estar". Therefore, it depends on the context in which it is used, the sentence will be translated in a different way.

  • <em>"Estar" refers to places. </em>
  • <em>"Ser" refers to the personal description and of other people.</em>

We have that the present indicative of the third singular person is given by:

"you're" (tú estás)

Then, the sentence is completed as:

<em>Are you happy today?</em>

Answer:

¿Estás tú contento hoy?
