Ethical relativism is a theory and perspective that proposes right/wrong decisions and actions (morality) are not universal, but depend on the culture or perspective of the individual, and therefore while some actions/decisions can be considered as morally correct in one culture in another culture these are immoral. The opposite of this theory is moral or ethical objectivism in which moral or ethical principles do not depend on the culture or perspective of the individual but these are universal or rely on facts. Thus, the opposite of strong ethical relativism is moral objectivism.
