In the case below, the original source material is given along with a sample of student work. Determine the type of plagiarism b

y clicking the appropriate radio button.Original Source MaterialStudent VersionAPT was compared with numerous extant methodologies, including the linear models approach and event history analysis. The fundamental difference between APT and these other approaches is that no particular mathematical model is assumed in APT. In APT a model is viewed simply as a temporal pattern, whereas in most other approaches parameters of a mathematical model are estimated from data in which variables are measured separately. Moreover, in APT probabilities of temporal patterns are estimated by relative frequency and duration.References:Frick, T. (1990). Analysis of Patterns in Time (APT): A Method of Recording and Quantifying Temporal Relations in Education. American Educational Research Journal, 27(1), 180-204.The major difference between Analysis of Patterns in Time and linear statistical models is that APT does not assume any specific mathematical model. Linear models attempt to find statistical relations between variables that have been measured separately. In APT, temporal patterns indicate relationships. Those patterns are counted in order to estimate their likelihoods.References:Frick, T. (1990). Answer:

B. Paraphrasing plagiarism

Explanation:

In the United States plagiarism is viewed as a very serious offence that violates somebody's intellectual property rights.  When Mrs. Barcelone Sia has written or done some analysis it is believed that the work belongs to her. If Mr. Wilcoty uses the idea, words, or analysis as used by Mrs. Barcelone Sia, that is considered as plagiarism.  Plagiarism is a form of stealing, though a tangible physical asset is not involved but an intellectual intangible asset.

Make me a 3-6 paragraph of a story in the rainforest.
ioda

Answer:

My Journey through the Rainforest

The deep dense forest, where I found myself walking, was the location of my camp. I could hear the tweeting of the birds and insects. My skin felt warm. The trees were as tall as the mountains in the valley. The smell was fresh, but the air was humid. Leaves from trees branches in the trees felt wet from the last nights dewdrops.

I kept walking because of my curiosity to discover new things. I suddenly stopped because there was a long river in front of me. I knew walking around it would take too long, but swimming through it would be very dangerous, since I was not sure what was in the rapid water. I decided to cut down several branches from the trees to build a raft and paddle across the river. Finally, I crossed the river on my not so stable raft.

As I continued on my journey, I entered a dark cave. Inside, I found a sleeping bear, so I sneaked back out. It was becoming dark and cold. I felt scared because of the noises the nocturnal animals, insects and birds were making. I used my bright torch to find my way back to camp. Soon the battery of my torch had run out.

After a long walk, I could see the light from the campfire my friends had lit. When I reached the river, my friends had cut down a log and placed across the river, so it was easy to cross. As I arrived, we had something to eat, while we told each other spooky stories. It was late, and so it was time to go to sleep.

In the morning, when we woke up, we all brushed our teeth, changed our clothes and packed for the walk home. This was an experience that I will never forget.

The End
