Percy Jackson and Harry Potter share the theme of friendship and fantasy.

In Percy Jackson, Percy is always moving from school to school, when he meets his friend Grover, they travel to camp half-blood. Percy meets Annabeth and they soon become best friends.

In Harry Potter, Harry is friendless and lonely like Percy, he goes to Hogwarts and meets Ron, quick to be 'best mates.'
