The answer should be the "small intestine." 90% of digestion takes place in the small intestine and that's because that's during the process of digestion the small intestine sucks all of the nutrients out of the food then passes off the waste. Digestion starts as soon as you put food in your mouth because your saliva contains chemicals that breaks the food down.
