They also recruited some of the locals by the moment the American Revolution started. After this, Louisiana declared war to Britain in which Bernando Gálvez had the leadership of this stage, with some Louisians and and Spanish regulars. They were able to defeat different territories such as Florida, Alabama, Batong Rouge and, they forced the British off Gulf Mexico.
