Explanation:

When it comes to actual digestion, and food entering the mouth and leaving the body, it's a whole process and it takes time. It differs whether it's a female or male body. Food takes around six to nine hours to pass through our bodies. Then, food travels to our colon, where the eaten food is digested. It absorbs water. The remaining of undigested food is then removed from the system. It takes many hours ( around 36 ) for food to actually travel through the colon.
