Answer:

A volcano is constructive force and a glacier is not.

Explanation:

Volcanoes are formed when molten magma reaches the earth surface to form volcanic rocks. Volcanoes brings materials from deep within the earth to the surface. It adds earth materials to the already existing ones. Volcanism is a building process and it was very instrumental to the early formation of the earth. It is still very much important. Some gases are also released into the atmosphere through volcanic processes.

Glaciers are destructive forces. The erosive power of moving glaciers wears and sculpts the surface. Glaciers carry sediments within them and release them when they melt. They can carry very fine particles to large ones within them. Glaciers are very powerful denudation agents in polar, temperate and mountaineous regions of the world.

Some sediment in glaciers can reach far deep into the oceans as they can be carried in ice bergs.

Identifying Cause and Effect Create a flow chart that shows the geologic events
Tom [10]

Answer:

Particulates/debris were ejected from the volcano far into the atmosphere of the Earth.  Global air travel was greatly disrupted.

Explanation:

Fine particulates and jet engines are not great friends.  The fine particulate matter ejected into the atmosphere disrupted air travel, most, between North America and Europe.  The particulate matter could easily damage any jet engine should a plane attempt to fly through airspace affected by the eruption.
