Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

$30

Step-by-step explanation:

She paid $24.72 for the 2 packages of chicken because $12.36×2=$24.72.

She paid $0.99 for the broccoli because $1.98×1/2=$0.99.

She paid $3.49 for the milk because one gallon of milk costs $3.49.

$24.72+$0.99+$3.49=$29.20.

$29.20+$0.80=$30.00.

She used $30.00 to pay for the items.

A geometric sequence is shown on the graph below. What is the formula for the nth term of the sequence?
TEA [102]
Remember, an=a1(r)^(n-1) where a1=first term or where n=1 and r=commmon ratio <span> </span> a2/a1=r <span> </span> so if you have the graph, find the y value coresponding to x=1 and that is a1 <span> </span> find the y value coresponding to x=2 and taht is a2, do a2/a1 to get r

so like I was saying

well, each term is 1/2 of the previous
20/40=1/2
so r=1/2
and a1=40
so
a_n=40(\frac{1}{2})^{n-1} is da equation

TEA [102]

Let the no of large frames bought be X

Then the no of smaller frames bought will be (17 - X )

Cost incurred = 14X + 5( 17 - X) = 130

14X + 85 - 5X = 130

9X = 45

X = 5
 Answer 5 large frames and 12 small frames

 Check

5X14 = 70
