What can be inferred about the Philippines?

History
1 answer:
Ierofanga [76]3 years ago
7 0

Answer:

It is doing well but is still a poor nation compared with others

Explanation:

The Philippines have seen some progress in more recent times, especially since president Duterte came to power. The new government gave its best to destroy the criminal groups in the country that were ruining the youth and the economy, and it was very successful, though some might argue that it was done in a very brutal way. Also, there were some economic reforms, and the country is experiencing solid economic growth. The problem is that the country was in a such bad situation, that the economic growth in recent times is hardly noticeable, and it is still a poor nation. It will need some time with high economic growth until this country manages to get out of the poverty and be a more decent place for living.
