The teacher that corrected the greatest amount would be Mr. James. Reason for this would be that 5/8 is .625 and when you move the decimal to places to the right to make a percent, you would get 62%

Which one of these formulas describes the following sequence?<br><br> 1,5,12,22,35
kati45 [8]

We can find a formula for nth term of the given sequence as follows:

1, 5, 12, 22, 35

The 1st differences between terms:

4, 7, 10, 13

The 2nd differences :

3, 3, 3

Since it takes two rounds of differences to arrive at a constant difference between terms, the nth term will be a 2nd degree polynomial of the form: a n^2 + b n + c, where c is a constant. The coefficients a, b, and the constant c can be found.

We can form the following 3 equations with 3 unknowns a, b, c:

1 = a\cdot1^2 + b\cdot1 + c\\5 = \cdot2^2 + b\cdot2 + c\\12 = a\cdot3^2 + b\cdot3 + c

Solving for a, b, c, we get:

a = 3/2, b = -1/2, c = 0

Therefore, the nth term of the given sequence is:

\boxed{ a_n = \dfrac{3}{2}n^2- \dfrac{1}{2} n}

Find the value of X?
Molodets [167]

Answer:

x = 58

Step-by-step explanation:

The exterior angle is equal to the sum of the opposite interior angles

90  = 32+x

Subtract 32 from each side

90-32 = x

58 =x

What is the approximate radius of a sphere with a volume of 113 cm3?O A. 3 cm O B. 4 cm O c. 2 cm O D. 5 cm
Vitek1552 [10]

Considering it's volume of 113 cm³, the approximate radius of the sphere is given by:

A. 3 cm

<h3>What is the volume of an sphere?</h3>

The volume of an sphere of radius r is given by:

V = \frac{4\pi r^3}{3}

In this problem, we have that V = 113 cm³, hence the radius in cm is given as follows:

V = \frac{4\pi r^3}{3}

113 = \frac{4\pi r^3}{3}

r^3 = \frac{113 \times 3}{4\pi}

r = \sqrt[3]{\frac{113 \times 3}{4\pi}}

r = 3 cm.

Hence option A is correct.
