<h2><u>Answer:</u></h2>

The Y value for the point that parts the segment EF into equal parts and if point E is situated at (5,- 2) and point F id situated at (- 1,3). we would be able to find the value by calculating its mid-point. The answer for this question is going to be calculated by:

By mid point condition,

x = 2, y = 0.5,

the appropriate response is 0.5

List six environmental impacts of urbanization.
goldenfox [79]

Urbanization refers to those areas of urban that can grow by increasing human population or migration of people from rural to urban areas  & then it impacts our environment like deforestation, habitat loss and decreased of biodiversity.

Air pollution due to the high concentration of traffic and industries. Increased a greenhouse gas due to which it emissions a high levels of energy consumption and transportation.  Urbanization affects our environment by improper or insufficient waste or smelly problem in urban areas.

Light pollution can be a ecological issues with different consequences. loss of green space and increase of heat island is also effected. It also affect our health due to increased risk of disease by overcrowding .

Process of Science: Explaining the Motions of Planets. To ancient astronomers, the motions of the Sun, the Moon, and the stars s
Sedbober [7]

Answer:

<u>Geocentric Model</u>: - this model is Earth Centered

-Retrograde motion is explained by epicycles

<u>Heliocentric Model</u>: - This model is Sun Centered

-Retrograde motion is explained by the orbital speeds of planets

<u>Both models</u>:- Epicycles and deferents help explain planetary motion

-Planets move in circular orbits and with uniform motion

-The brightness of a planet increases when the planet is closest to Earth

Explanation:

Retrograde motion is an apparent change in the movement of the planet through the sky. Ptolemy's model of the solar systems was geocentric, where the Sun, Moon, planets and start all orbit the Earth in perfectly circular orbits. However this perfectly circular orbits around the Earth did not explain the occasional retrograde motion of the planets. In the Copernicus' heliocentric model, retrograde motion of planets is naturally explained. The explanation for retrograde motion in a heliocentric model is that retrograde occurs roughly when a faster moving planet catches up to and passes a slower moving planet.

The sea can act as a temperature regulator because it takes in heat energy in the summer but the land can’t do that (the suns rays are mostly reflected) so temperature isn’t kept as constant

A circle has a diameter
torisob [31]

The circumference of circle is 20.096 units

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

Given that circle has a diameter  with endpoints at (10, 8)  and (5, 4)

To get the diameter, find the distance between the end points

<em><u>The distance between two points is given by formula;</u></em>

d=\sqrt{\left(x_{2}-x_{1}\right)^{2}+\left(y_{2}-y_{1}\right)^{2}}

Here the points are (10, 8)  and (5, 4)

(x_1, y_1) = (10, 8)\\\\(x_2, y_2) = (5, 4)

Substituting the values we get,

\begin{aligned}&d=\sqrt{(5-10)^{2}+(4-8)^{2}}\\\\&d=\sqrt{(-5)^{2}+(-4)^{2}}=\sqrt{25+16}=\sqrt{41}\end{aligned}

d = \sqrt{41} = 6.4

Thus the diameter is 6.4 units

<em><u>The  circumference of the circle is given by formula:</u></em>

c = \pi d

Where "d" is the diameter of circle

c = 3.14 \times 6.4 = 20.096

Thus circumference of circle is 20.096 units
