The answer to this question is Bad time only last a little while. He never gives generosity so A can’t be it. Emotions can be overwhelming at times C is a understandable answer but it’s a negative answer when the end of this poem is happy. In the end, evil always wins D is definitely incorrect since it ends him being positive of it being over. So the answer is B Bad time only last a little while.

The answer is option B.

In Emily Dickenson's poem "An Awful Tempest Mashed The Air," the theme expresses that bad times only last a little while.

At first, a terrible storm is described, which covers heaven and Earth. As a result, the storm represents bad times, as well as how problems sometimes make people blind, and do not let them see reality and the goods things in life.

Then the author depicts the terrible sounds of the storm, as if evil creatures were laughing and making noises on top of a roof. Thus, they refer to people's feelings of fear in times of trouble.

In a short period of time, the next morning, the sun comes out and problems disappear. As a consequence, there is a sense of peace as if it were heaven.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
Crazy boy [7]

According to a different source, this question refers to the Brown v. Board of Education decision. In this case, the court issued a unanimous decision in favor of the Brown family. This decision was written by Chief Justice Earl Warren.

I would argue that Warren's rhetoric is persuasive and authoritative. He very clearly explains the reasons why the Court reached this decision. This conveys a feeling of knowledge and clarity. The line that I find most moving is:

<em>"To separate [black children] from others of similar age and qualifications solely because of their race generates a feeling of inferiority as to their status in the community that may affect their hearts and minds in a way unlikely to ever be undone."</em>

I find this line to be very powerful because it gets to the source of the problem. By explaining how black children might feel, it encourages people to rethink segregation. It also supports the idea that all people are equally valuable, regardless of their color.

In seven to ten complete sentences, explain the purpose for including support from a primary and secondary resource in compariso
inna [77]
It is important to have a primary source and a secondary source because it allows you to set up the writing and add information to support or disagree with the topic. If you were reading two books and you were planning on comparing/contrasting them using a specific topic, those two books would be your primary sources. The primary sources are the bulk of the writing while the secondary sources add on in support with your argument. Secondary sources would be source outside of your primary sources (Internet, magazines, newspapers, etc). Primary source is the main source. Secondary source is the source outside of your main source. Secondary sources are usually used to give your paper more factual evidence or things of that source.

Which inference can be drawn about Bilbo's character based on Chapters 9 and 10 of The Hobbit?
bezimeni [28]

Answer:

Part A:

b) He is blessed with good timing and luck.

Part B:

b) 'Poor little blighter,' said William. He had already had as much supper as he could hold; also, he had had lots of beer. 'Poor little blighter! Let him go!'

e) "The day grew lighter and warmer as they floated along. After a while, the river rounded a steep shoulder of land that came down upon their left ... Suddenly the cliff fell away. The shores sank. The trees ended. Then Bilbo saw a sight: The lands opened wide about him, filled with the waters of the river which broke up and wandered in a hundred winding courses."

Explanation:

Based on chapter 9 and 10, we can infer that Bilbo is blessed with timing and luck.

In the line that starts with 'poor little blighter...', Bilbo is lucky because as he gets caught up, he does not end up being cooked because at that time, William had just eaten and was full of food and beer.

In the second instance, "The day grew lighter and warmer as they floated along......, Bilbo finally got to see the lonely mountain that he had come far to see. There, felt fortunate as he listened to the information that the raftsmen let fall.
