So the digit in the hundreds column is 4. Then we look to the right and see if that digit's value is greater than 5. If the value if greater or equal to 5 (which, in this case, it is) then we round if the digit in the hundreds column up... if the digit is less than 5 then it remains. So your answer is 51,500
