In a persuasive essay, your main purpose is to convince people of a particular position. Moreover, besides being persuasive, it is likely that you also want people to follow a particular course of action. Therefore, your conclusion should address these two objectives. First, your conclusion should restate your claim. Second, your conclusion should make a call to action.

The conclusion should summarise the claim, and end off with a call to action. The whole point of a persuasive text is to inform readers and persuade them to act.
