Answer: The conclusion should summarize the claim and call readers to action.

In a persuasive essay, your main purpose is to convince people of a particular position. Moreover, besides being persuasive, it is likely that you also want people to follow a particular course of action. Therefore, your conclusion should address these two objectives. First, your conclusion should restate your claim. Second, your conclusion should make a call to action.

The conclusion should summarise the claim, and end off with a call to action. The whole point of a persuasive text is to inform readers and persuade them to act.

PLS HELPPPP Change the short poem below to a poem with narrative elements. Then describe the changes you made in 2-3 sentences,
ANEK [815]

Sometimes I lie awake at night

Wondering why

Counting stars or sheep doesn't work anymore.

The clock keeps on ticking

And before I realize,

The Sun has already hit my face.

Explanation:

The main thing that distinguishes narrative poetry, is a clear goal to tell a story in a more straight forward manner that is easier to follow. In the short poem for the exercise, we have various images that share a certain theme but are somewhat disjointed. What I did was use connectors ("and before I realize") and a few actions ("counting", "keeps on ticking", "has already hit") that seemed organic and blended well with the imagery given.

Hope this helps!
