Using the Pythagoras Theorem we can solve this equation. a$a^{2} + b^{2} = c^{2}$, where a and b represent legs and c represents the hypotenuse.

Again YOU CANNOT SQUARE ROOT EVERYTHING:

$3^{2} + 4^{2} = 5^{2}$
9+16=25

BUT:

3+4 \neq 7!!

To continue:

$8^{2} + b^{2} = 10^{2}$
64+ [tex] b^{2} [\tex] = 100
[tex] b^{2} [\tex] = 36
b = 6

The other leg's length is 6.
