On the other hand, it is true that he failed his first entrance exam for the prestigious Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich. Although he was two years younger than other students he passed Physics and Math tests but failed at the general examination, so this was the reason he was not admitted to the university.

Instead of Zurich, he began his studies at the Argovian Cantonal School, located in the northern part of Switzerland. After finishing the Argovian Cantonal School, Einstein enrolled in Mathematics and Physics program in Polytechnic School in Zurich and got his degree in 1900.
