<u><em>Answer:</em></u>

Both supported American neutrality.

World War I had a devastating result on German-Americans and their cultural heritage. Up till that time, German-Americans, as a group, had been spared a lot of of the discrimination, abuse, rejection, and collective mistrust veteran by such a big amount of totally different racial and ethnic teams within the history of the us.

When the U.S. declared war on FRG in 1917, anti-German sentiment rose across the state, and German American establishments came vulnerable.

German Americans reacted by defending their loyalty to the Uited States.

To what extent was the north’s victory inevitable?
Allushta [10]
Yes, victory by the Union was inevitable regardless of how well the Confederacy fought or the intervention of any external potential allies.

Why? The North had a demographic advantage over the South - There were more people living the North than the South.

(Hope this helps!!)
