This is a bit subjective, but it could be argued that social change had the biggest change in Southern life, since the abolition os slavery (which was inherently a social issue) led to the biggest changes.
The Tennis Court Oath was a promise to "<span>a. write a constitution," since this was at the very beginning of the French Revolution, when members of the Third Estate were upset about being excluded from policy meetings. </span>
They were upright and really did not believe in true personal liberty.
