Processed foods are bad for your lifestyle, your complexion, and your health.

Further Explanation:

Processed foods contain many food items that are made from refined food products which often undergo the processing for the removal of the fiber content which is there in them before processing. Everything starting from white rice to refined flour or products which are made from flour such as cookies, cakes, noodles etc are processed food items. Because of the refining process, most of the food products lose their valuable nutrients such as vitamins and minerals which are naturally present in them and considered as beneficial for consumption.

Apart from that, there is an addition of chemicals and additives which contribute to ill effects over the human body. Processed foods increase the risk of obesity, increase the risk of diabetes, Increases the risk of heart diseases as well as a person may suffer hypertension because of the high consumption of processed foods.

D. Processed foods are bad for your lifestyle, your complexion, and your health.

Parallel writting helps making a writting easier to read, in this case it creates a patter in which you know that something is bad, and then you don´t have to repeat that is bad you just enlist the things that it damages.

Making college more affordable: the importance of pre-collegiate preparation

PART A: Which statement identifies the central idea of the text?

A. College becomes more accessible and affordable for students when they are better educated and prepared beforehand.

B. Students need to be eased into the transition from high school to college with additional classes and faculty support.

C. The requirements for universities have become more severe, dissuading many capable students form pursuing a post secondary education.

D. Many students miss out on applying or attending universities after high school because they are not educated on how to properly apply.

Option (A) is correct

College becomes more accessible and affordable for students when they are better educated and prepared beforehand.

Explanation:

The growth and progress of a nation depend upon its highly educated students. But education should not merely be restricted to higher means. Everyone must have the right to education. But for that, it is important to make the colleges more affordable.

They should be given education beforehand and should be prepared for it so that they get an opportunity to get an admission in a college. Pre-collegiate preparation enables the students to prepare effectively for their college.

The Renaissance was a period of tremendous achievements in the fields of art, politics, literature, and philosophy. It was a tim
ollegr [7]

Answer:

Women's lives did not improve at all if anything they were worsened. Rich woman during the renaissance had very little say in anything and was taught to help their husband run a business and take care of him and the house. The poor woman had no say in anything they only had to choices at life, they could either be a housewife and take care of the kids and the house ore they had to become a nun. The poor woman could not be single or have any rights.

The role of women was very scarce. Women were supposed to be seen and not heard. Rarely seen at that. Women were to be prim and proper, the ideal women. Females were able to speak their minds but their thoughts and ideas were shaped by men. Mostly everything women did had input given by men. Women were controlled by her parents from the day she is born until the day she is married, then she would be handed directly to her husband so he could take over that role. In the time of the renaissance, women were considered to legally belong to their husbands. Women were supposed to be typical ‘housewives.'

Though women were inferior to men, women in different classes had different roles. Low-class women were expected to be housewives and take care of everything to do with the house. The expectation of working-class women was a little bit different. These women were expected to work for their husbands and help them run their business. They would work alongside their husbands and then go home and take care of the household. Upper-class women may have had servants and workers working for them but the women were still expected to take care of the household.

Women could not work by themselves. Neither could they live alone if they were not married. If a woman was single, she was made to move in with one of her male relatives or join a convent and become a nun. There was no other option at this time for women.

In conclusion in different classes of women, the only women that were allowed to express themselves were upper-class women, but not sufficiently. The existence of women was there but it was a marginal existence. Very rarely would a woman of less than upper class be seen or heard expressing herself. It was unheard of. When women did express themselves, what they would express was tainted by male influence.
