When they were being used by wrestlers of the Soviet Union (and not Russia) during the 1952 Olympic games in Helsinki, Finland. The correct answer to your question is therefore C - they were used by Russian wrestlers. 2. Explain the term "injury prevention" and give examples of ways to prevent at least three specific injuries.
Galina-37 [17]

Answer:

The term injury prevention is defined as the effort that should be done aiming to prevent further injuries as well as to reduce the severity of an injury brought about by external mechanisms such as accidents before it will occur.

Here are examples of ways to prevent injury:

1. Always wear protective gears, especially when driving or biking. Protective gears include helmets, and protective pads.

2. Before doing an activity or exercise, always make sure to do some warm up first and then cool down after.

3. When you are playing e.g. sports, always know the rules and watch out for others as well. Never or avoid playing if you are currently having an injury.

PLEASE HELP!! bonus points
In-s [12.5K]

Answer:

The more pathogens cause the disease the more difficult it will be to eradicate. If a disease is caused by a limited number and closely related pathogens then often same tools and approaches can be used in eradication efforts.Malaria parasites have a complex life cycle, and there is poor understanding of the complex immune response to malaria infection. Malaria parasites are also genetically complex, producing thousands of potential antigens. It's hard because we're talking of a parasite and the biology of the parasite and of the transmission of that parasite is orders of magnitude more complex than anything we've confronted and a disease that would be eradicated before. So a virus like that of polio or smallpox is a relatively simple organism.
