Answer:

A. A hypothesis can suggest an explanation for an observed phenomenon that can later be tested through experimentation.

Explanation:

The validity of the hypotheses are checked by the experiments. This is the most significant step of the scientific method. Through experimentation, a response to the problem is proposed. An example could be the following:

-Hypothesis: the leaves that trees have are green because they have chlorophyll.

-Experiment: place the colored leaves in a jar with alcohol, and then heat to a boil.

-Results: after boiling, the alcohol turns green. This shows that tree leaves have a green pigment known as chlorophyll.

-Conclusions: the hypothesis is valid, since the leaves of the trees are green because they have chlorophyll and it was demonstrated with the experiment.

Describe 1 factor where the ocean affects the climate .
natita [175]

Answer:

The sea affects the climate of a place. Coastal areas are cooler and wetter than inland areas. Clouds form when warm air from inland areas meets cool air from the sea. In the summer, temperatures can be very hot and dry as moisture from the sea evaporates before it reaches the centre of the land mass.
